More Crises At D’Tunes’ Difference Entertainment As Another Act Quits Label

The ongoing crises at D’Tunes led Difference Entertainment seems to have taken another turn as one of its newly signed acts, Ogungbe Taiwo better known as ATM has exited the label.

We can authoritatively report that singing sensation, ATM has dumped the label less than 5 months after he penned a 5 year record deal with the label. ATM was unveiled alongside Badboy Ace, Qdot, Kuebounce, and D-O as artistes signed under the label in May 2015.

The songwriter cum singer who already have ‘Confam’, ‘Jubadi’, ‘Kokanmi’, ‘Keponwe’ among other hits to his name exited the label following an alleged rift between himself and music star, Sean Tizzle, another act signed on the label.

Speaking on this issue, ATM who recently survived an auto crash few days ago revealed he penned a 5 year deal in May, but events in the last few weeks informed his decision to leave the label. “I actually signed a 5 year deal with lots of promises. We commenced on a good note but things didn’t turn out as planned.”
When probed further on the alleged rift that lead to him quitting the label, ATM decided to keep mum. “Rift or no rift, I have decided to leave the label on mutual agreement and without any bias. There is no need to dwell on that.”
When contacted by our correspondent, Difference Entertainment head, D’Tunes didn’t deny ATM leaving the label but revealed there are plans to stage a proper press briefing aimed at addressing the issue.
“There is no need to make any statements now. We are having a press conference next week to address the issue and set the records straight. We will contact you when it is time to make the necessary statements.”
ATM joins Q Dot as the latest act to quit the label few months after their celebrated arrival. It will be recalled Q Dot dumped the label in July 2015 as we earlier reported.
