They collectively sold 452,000 downloads in the U.S. for the week, with big increases tallied by the likes of Selena Gomez’s “Same Old Love” (81,000; up 74 percent) and Demi Lovato’s “Confident” (50,000; up 71 percent), among others.

In terms of streams, the show’s performed songs (not including Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Kevin,” which is not available to stream) collectively saw a 3 percent rise in on-demand U.S. streams (to 117.2 million)

Note: With regards to Celine Dion’s “Hymne a L’amour” and Pentatonix’s Star Wars tribute (both performed on the AMAs), as neither artist has released their own version of their performance, we researched Edith Piaf’s popular recording (for Dion) and John Williams’ main title theme for Star Wars.
